The Recycle NB App provides recycling information and resources for residents of New Brunswick, Canada. Features include searching for recyclable items, locating nearby recycling

drop-off points, identifying items using your device's camera, and accessing a recycling assistant powered by artificial intelligence.

2. Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of accessing recycling information. You may not:

- Use the App for any unlawful purpose

- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's operation

- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App

- Use automated systems to access the App in a manner that exceeds reasonable use

3. Information Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date recycling information, including drop-off locations, accepted materials, and program details. However, we do not guarantee the completeness

or accuracy of this information. Recycling programs, accepted materials, location hours, and other details may change without notice. We recommend contacting individual drop-off

locations to confirm details before visiting.

4. AI-Powered Features

The App includes an AI-powered recycling assistant and camera-based item identification. These features provide general guidance only and may not always produce accurate results. You

should not rely solely on AI-generated responses for recycling decisions. When in doubt, consult the program information provided on our website or contact us directly.

5. Camera and Image Use

When you use the camera feature to identify items, images are transmitted to our servers for analysis. Images are processed for classification purposes only and are not stored or

retained after analysis is complete. Images are not shared with third parties.

6. Location Services

The App may request access to your device's location to find nearby recycling drop-off points. Location access is optional. You may deny location access and search by city or postal code

instead. Location data is used solely to provide proximity-based results and is not stored or tracked.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and functionality of the App are the property of Recycle NB or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce,

distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may link to or integrate with third-party services, including mapping providers and external websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability

of third-party services. Your use of such services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of

harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recycle NB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to

use the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
