You cannot take bike tires and tubes to just any retailer. You must take them to a bike retailer who will bundle them for easier handling during the recycling process.
There is no cost for the consumer. Recycle NB is covering the cost of the program. Bike retailers are doing their part by accepting your bike tires and tubes free, and TRACC handles the collection and recycling.
The Recycle NB website lists the bike shops in the province that are part of the recycling program. We recommend you call your local bike retailer first.
