Farmers looking to safely dispose of unwanted agricultural pesticides or old livestock/equine medications can do so during a province-wide collection taking place November 1-12, 2021.
The initiative is being organized by Cleanfarms, a non-profit environmental stewardship organization that promotes and encourages responsible agricultural waste management practices in the Canadian farming industry. Along with its partner, the Canadian Animal Health Institute (CAHI), Cleanfarms holds collection events once every three years in the Maritimes, so farmers do not want to miss their chance to safely dispose of obsolete or outdated agricultural products.

To prepare, farmers in New Brunswick are encouraged to first check the list of “What’s In” and “What’s Out”, gather the acceptable items, place them in a sealable or spill-proof container and take them to one of the designated locations.
Collection sites aim to be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday during this period; however, we encourage to you to check ahead in case of any changes.
