UNB Saint John holding community electronic waste recycling day

Notice- UNB Saint John is providing Saint John residents with an opportunity to recycle their unwanted electronics. On Saturday, September 17, the university is holding a community electronic waste recycling day. The event begins at 9 a.m. and will end when the collection truck is full.  The truck will be located on the UNB Saint John campus behind the gym.

 Residents may drop off any of the following electronic items. 

• All-in-one printers

• Cables (IDE, power, sound, etc.)

• Cameras

• Cords (sound, video, Ethernet, USB)

• Cases

• Cash registers

• CD/DVDs, floppy drives, burners

• Computers

• Computer fans

• Copiers

• CRT monitors

• External drives

• External modems

• Faxes

• Flat LCD monitors

• Gaming consoles

• Hard drives

• Hubs

• Joysticks

• Keyboards

• Laptops

• Memory ram

• Speakers,  Microphones

• Mouse

• Mouse pads

• Power supply

• Printers

• Processors

• Radios

• Routers

• Scanners

• Satellite equipment

• Telephones

• Televisions

• USB key

• VCR/DVD players

Saint John firefighters will also be on hand to collect for a boot drive on behalf of muscular dystrophy.
